Never let go

At night, as the cold soft air passed by, I was watching the stars. The number of memories shared and formed, no matter how much grief or difficult life had thrown at them, they were able to overcome it. A pleasant grin crossed her lips as she gazed down at her backyard, where her husband and child were playing together.

He turned to look at the balcony where his wife was standing and them with a gentle slime, sensing her stare on her. They've been through a lot, and seeing their child running around makes him believe that everything will be fine in the end.

Arms wrapped around him, and he discovered that his wife was hugging him. He drew her close and kissed her lips as they watched the starlights scattered across the sky, and their daughter chased their dog.

Maybe it was good to not let go.
